The simplest and most efficient way to generate a CNC program for an Advanced Stud Welding machine is the import of drawing data from CAD programs in DXF format. This allows complex CNC programs to be generated within minutes. The studs can be positioned with a mouse click or even automatically in the drawing data using available layers and predefined diameters. In this case you don’t even need to enter any data via the keyboard. Bolzit carries out all the necessary steps automatically. You can position all the required studs using the comfortable programming functions (circle, line, rectangle etc.). Using these functions, you can enter absolute coordinates and relative coordinates in the X direction and Y direction with reference to the last stud positioned. Individual program blocks can be copied, deleted and moved in X direction and Y direction. Moving all programmed studs in the X direction and Y direction is also possible.

The new compact SK-5AN stud welding head with small-sized, slim design and low weight has a unique and patented semi- and fully automatic stud feed system (Pat. No. 0406459). The SK-5AN welding head can be easily and rapidly converted to other stud diameters. Possible jams caused by studs are instantly detectable and can be immediately eliminated due to free accessibility. All connections are pluggable and thus easy to maintain and to install. The SK-5AN stud welding head is ideal for connection to stationary machining centres, CNC machines, robots, handling systems etc.

The new "intelligent" SK-5AP automatic welding head with microprocessor can for the first time precisely measure the lift and plunging distances via a patented digital display (Pat. No. 589 05 207). By recording the measured value for the plunging depth of each welded stud, a decisive step has been taken in the direction of quality assurance and process capability under the standards series DIN EN ISO 9000 ff. In connection with the semi- and fully automatic stud feed system which is also patented (Pat. No. 0406459), this trend-setting new development is especially suitable for the production of high-quality stud welded joints. The SK-5AP automatic welding head is particularly designed for connection to stationary machining centres, conventional or CNC stud welding machines, robots and handling systems etc.

The HSK-5L stud welding head has been specially developed to be accommodated in stationary devices such as stands, robots, CNC machines, etc. The use of this stud welding head optimises welding processes which are normally difficult using conventional manual welding guns. The HSK-5L stud welding head is optionally available as HSK-5LP stud welding head featuring an innovative digital display and microprocessor technology for measuring the lift and plunging distances to comply with quality assurance requirements.

The UVR-300 universal feeder is a patented technical novelty (Patent No. DE 199 34 209 C2). Owing to a single high-speed stud escapement, it has for the first time become possible to feed six different stud sizes fully automatically. Elaborate and costly conversion kits or time-consuming conversions are thus not required. By rapid, simple rotation of the hardened and ground hexagon barrel it is possible to transport various stud diameters. Thanks to this innovative technical development, the well-tried universal feeders can now effect serial stud welding jobs with frequently changing stud diameters more economically and efficiently.
